Just who DOES control the Democratic party AND the media?

If the readers will recall: Just a short time ago news broke that Hillary and Obama had engaged in a racial/gender shouting match. The story was covered for all of one or two days.

Can you picture the extensive fallout by the media if a Republican had been involved?

Can you picture the irritants Jackson and Sharpton mounting the podium for days on end, all with never-ending media coverage?

Can you imagine the burning cities and (if possible) bras (or jockstraps) by outraged feminists and people of color, all, of course, amply covered by our media?

Recall, if you will, the months of coverage and righteous harangues and symbolic lynchings by Jackson, Sharpton and the feminazis over those three Duke University students, all, of course, well publicized by our beloved media.

But what happened here? All was quiet after one or two days with love and kisses for all. The media went silent. Jackson and Sharpton remained mum. Cities survived. Feminists kept quiet if possible.

So what orchestrated this 'tolerance'?

Consider the possibility of one in far greater control than Hillary, Obama or the usual operatives, one who read the riot act over dissention jeopardizing this upcoming election in the incessant quest for power and control.

Would it be any one person? Would it be any group, bent on destruction of the principles which founded this Nation or any person backing such a group?

Just consider what has gone on in the past, from the dispersal of untold resources, either in warlike acts, movies and rumors bordering on near sedition with little or no basis, and just consider.

Far more is at stake than a mere election, dear reader. And those that would dismiss this as mere ranting are just as effective an operative as those who have so aptly contributed to what has gone before.

CIVIL WAR II

At the time of this writing, the New Hampshire primary is underway.

The results of this primary and those that closely follow in the next three months will begin to more clearly define the allegiance that various political figures embrace.

Keep in mind that Talk Radio Review announced months ago that U.S. Civil War II was underway. No, it is not a shooting war at present. But the war is raging in initial stages. It is impossible to tell if a shooting war will develop as it did in Civil War I back in 1861.

Whether it comes to a shooting war or not will greatly depend upon whether or not Marxist and International Socialists advance to the forefront as a result of the 2008 presidential and congressional elections. If the socialist enemies of the Republic make gains, a shooting war will not be far away.

If loyalists gain control of Congress and if a loyalist enters the White House, it may be possible to quell the rising tide of Marxist and Islamic enemies.

In the coming months Talk Radio Review hopes to present brief but relevant commentary on things as they develop in the war. We hope you will return for our commentary. We encourage you to leave your comments as well.

PELOSI'S HOPED-FOR WAR

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has pushed a resolution in Congress censuring Turkey for a massacre of Armenians in 1915, while Turkey was part of the former Ottoman Empire.

Turkey has withdrawn diplomatic representatives from the U.S. as a result of Pelosi's Congressional action. A worsening of relations with Turkey could result in termination of the flow of supplies to U.S. troops in Iraq, as U.S. supply aircraft now use Turkish air space.

In addition, Turkey is now threatening to send troops into northern Iraq to disrupt the rise of democracy and economic advances in Iraq's Kurdish territory.

All of these would seriously damage U.S. success in Iraq. They would make it more likely that the U.S. mission in Iraq would fail.

At this particular point in time, why would Nancy Pelosi want to do anything that could seriously affect the U.S. military mission in Iraq.

The answer is that Nancy Pelosi is a Communist, and her agenda is that of international socialism and Marxism. Few will label her accurately as we do here. Some of the best in talk radio, notably Limbaugh and Levin, have come close to applying the proper label to her and the rest of her anti-capitalist, anti-American, anti-Bush socialist Democrats.

This is a civil war, dear readers. There is no shooting yet, but the opening episodes are underway. International socialism and Marxism are making an historical push to destroy the United States as we now know it.

Pelosi's hoped-for war between Turkey and Iraq is just one small part of the Marxist rat pack's efforts.

Having earlier stated they would support an amendment to the state constitution to ban gay marriage, a handful of Massachusetts legislators today abandoned their previous stand and thus the voters of the former Bay State, now the Gay State, will not be allowed to express their support or lack thereof for the aforesaid constitutional amendment.
One wonders how many hand jobs these disgusting legislators were promised in return for slapping the voters of Massachusetts in the face.
Massachusetts now deservedly should be regarded as the first beach head of socialism and villany in the formerly good ole U.S.A.
Visit the offshore Massachusetts island of Martha's Vineyard some day. There you can find the humble mansions of any number of ultra liberal and left wing personalities of both past and present.
You may want to offer a silent prayer for Mary Jo Kopechne at the Chappie Bridge, or view the beauty of Nantucket with its appropriately named area called Gay Head.
Hell, if you really get lucky you may even see a few Massachusetts legislators down there on the beach indulging in a bit of gay head.
With any luck the time is not too far in the future when freakie bums will be pissing and shitting in the streets of Boston the way they do it already in San Fran Sick Oh.

If you rob, cheat, or coerce away the goods or services of other citizens, don't be surprised if the rest of us get together and lock you away in a place where you still won't have the right to a big screen color TV or a life of leisure.

IRAQ IS DEMS’ TAR-BABY

An old Democratic friend of mine stopped by the Monocle last week and while there ran into a Democratic senator of long acquaintance. The Senator was, of course, quite pleased with the outcome of the election and is looking forward to the perks and responsibilities that go with being in the majority.

The two talked for a few minutes, but the Senator was more than a little taken aback when my friend asked him what he and his fellow Democrats intend to do with the war they managed to acquire with their new majority. “What do you mean?” he said. “Iraq is Bush’s war and his problem.”

“Oh, no,” my friend responded, “it was his war until Nov. 9, but your party ran condemning the war, Bush’s management of it and promised to end it in one way or another. Now, you guys are going to have to come up with a plan because you are in the majority and with the majority comes responsibility … especially on problems voters believe you promised to solve.”

It was a sobering thought and the senator was momentarily speechless, but then got very, very cautious and assured my friend that most Democrats believe it would be dangerous to do anything precipitous. Fortunately, there was no one from MoveOn.Org at the next table.

To be fair, my friend overstated the degree to which Democrats have to single-handedly solve the Iraq problem, but voters are not likely to long tolerate their pre-election act of attacking Bush at every turn while offering nothing, or less than nothing, in the way of a realistic alternative.

After all, while there was more to the election than the war, most of the 20 percent or so of those who voted and said the war was their No. 1 concern voted this year for Democrats because they don’t like the way things have turned out for us in Iraq and are hoping for better.

It is true that many of the Democratic Party’s ideological allies and financial supporters seem to actually believe that the problem is nutcases who would pervert their religion to justify terror, torture and genocide, all on account of the U.S. They would argue, one suspects, that since it is our presence in the region that “creates” terrorists, all we have to do is leave and the problem will vanish.

This reasoning may be persuasive within the fever swamps of the left, but most elected Democrats tend to be more realistic and few of them share this view of a world that would be a better place but for us. Moreover, as politicians they have to worry about what might happen if they “get us out of Iraq” and the forces we are fighting there decide to take us and our friends on elsewhere, or the Iranians and others look at the debacle there as evidence of our lack of will to oppose whatever it is they decide to do with their nuclear weapons once they develop them.

Some of them are hoping former Secretary of State Jim Baker’s Iraq Commission will save their bacon as well as Bush’s by coming up with a magical strategy and end game that will both work and satisfy their base. That, however, doesn’t seem likely given the intractability of the problem and the vehement insistence on the left that the war has to be ended now or that we at least begin withdrawing or “redeploying” troops soon.

Some Democrats in Congress are already responding by rejecting the idea that anything but getting out matters. They dismiss the importance of whatever might happen there after we leave and seem to buy into the notion that everyone will be so happy that we’re out that no one will blame them for “losing Iraq” or for the acts of an emboldened terrorist movement.

Others are trying to satisfy their base by suggesting that all we have to do is seek support from our allies or the U.N., as if the Bush administration hasn’t tried. Still others suggest that we do more to “train” the Iraqis but blanch at the thought that this course could require committing more U.S. forces, at least in the short term.

And then, finally, there are those who denounce the Bush administration’s “imperialist empire-building” on the one hand, while suggesting that what “we” ought to do is sit down and redraw the map of the Middle East along more “rational” lines.

The lack of any unified Democratic stance on a crucial national security and foreign policy issue — on which the party’s candidates ran and won control of Congress — means that my friend is at least partially right.

Iraq is many things, including a tar-baby that congressional Democrats are going to find as difficult to get away from as the Republicans they so gleefully beat up over the last few years.

KERRY SCREWS UP DEMOCRAT STRATEGY

In the final stages of the election battles, John Kerry screwed up the Democrat plan to avoid sounding anti-military. One can hardly fail to notice that Cindy Sheehan, John Murtha, Nancy Pelosi and a bevy of cut and runners have been totally absent from the scene in these final days before the 2006 vote. But Kerry has blown the plan with his usual bloviating big mouth.

Just as cream rises to the top of the milk can, so turds often rise to the surface of the toilet bowl water.

One of liberalism's biggest turd has made a statement that America's servicemen in Iraq are those who fail in educational achievement.

In his incredible arrogance, Kerry, who joined the military to further his planned political career, has demonstrated his gross ignorance of today's all-voluntary military.

Factually, the average amount of schooling attained by today's troops is a grade and a half higher than the average for all Americans in the less than 35 group. In other words, service personnel are actually better educated than young Americans as a whole.

Thus John Kerry was demonstrably wrong when he said only educated kids survive being killed in Iraq, The fact is, Iraq troops are well trained and many have college degrees.

What we have seen here is Kerry revealing again the arrogance and elitism of left wingers. Looking down his Jacques Chirac style nose, Kerry has plainly revealed an aspect most left wingers share, namely a hatred for the military.

Whether or not Kerry's statement will affect the election outcome remains to be seen. What is superbly shown here, however, is that Massachusetts voters have sent a real turd to represent them in the U.S. Senate.

DESPERATION DEMOC RATS

Some years ago Congressman Gerry Studs of Massachusetts revealed that he was a homosexual and that he had been involved in sexual activities with a Congressional page.

Democ rats responded to this revelation by praising Studs for his honesty and his loving nature. Studs even had a press conference with his young stud (no relation) at his side.

Quite a switch when Republican Tom Foley is revealed as a homosexual by means of material passed on to a major television network by thusfar unknown Democ rat operatives.

The explicit internet messages said to have been sent by Foley and a Congressional page were stored away at least two and perhaps three years ago. The sources of the explicit material remain a mystery. The O'Reilly Factor has suggested that George Soros could be involved since he has funding connections with leftist organizations and blogs helping to get the explicit messages to willing accomplices in the major media.

Some can also smell the Clintons in this matter. The deliberate action of holding back material evidence that could have stopped Foley months ago until one month before Congressional elections does have a Clintonian odor.

The point to be made is how liberals treat sexual activities by one of their own and how they react when a Republican is the sinner.

It is not surprising. National Democ rats have nothing to offer except personal attacks and character assassination. They are terrified to engage in a discussion of the issues.

Talk Radio Review predicts that in these final weeks before the election, more attempts will be made by these pathetic Clintonoids to destroy other opponents' lives.

LOCAL HATE BUSH SHOW EXPOSES LIBERALS TRUE NATURE

Listening to Ken's Corner on Woonsocket, Rhode Island AM station WOON, you expect to hear the usual run of Bush bashing crap. Thankfully the show airs only once a week.

This particular hour-long foolishness usually features its half dozen anti-Bush fanatics spewing the same hate ad naseum.

Occasionally, though, a tiny portion of the show serves to cast light upon the real bigotry and arrogance of left wingers.

To illustrate, a perpetual caller identified as Elwood, phoned in recently to throw out the usual pro-Democrat and anti-Republican spin. But for a brief moment, the liberal heart and soul was revealed.

Caller Elwood was quoted as saying, "Well, you know, this President, what I found out about him. He drinks pink lemonade and he was a cheerleader. No wonder he was a great President. And, also, he probably got married to hide it, you know, to hide his, you know, persuasion, or whatever you want to call it. Now I hear some people, well, you know, I mean you're either straight or your not, you know. Some people cover it."

The host of the show tried to pass over this blurb as quickly as possible, but the meaning was out there and it was clear.

The caller was calling President Bush a "closet" homosexual whose marriage to Laura Bush was nothing more than a way to hide his sexual persuasion.

Let's overlook the rank stupidity of the comment and get to the point. Aren't we told that liberals are all-compassionate and never bigoted? If that is true, then why attack a President on the grounds that he is gay? Doesn't this in a classic way prove the point we've always known about libs. In their hearts they are among the most viscious and mean-spirited people. In public they come off as all-knowing, all-feeling and all-embracing champions of minorities and the oppressed.

Not so, my friends. In private, liberals far too often make comments such as the one cited here, proving them to be the political and social hypocrites they truly are.

It's all about getting power, folks. And to achieve power in politics and government, liberals will do and say just about anything. When it comes to gay rights, minority rights, or anyone's rights, liberals could care less about who they defame.

Getting back in power is all that matters.

Thank you, Mister Elwood, for exposing yet another aspect of the true nature of liberalism.

THE BEGINNING OF THE BEGINNING

The present series of events between Israel and the enemy may be the beginning of the beginning of World War III.
At the same time, the United States will have to deal with both World War III and a civil war now in progress.
Make no mistake about it, international socialism and communism, and all other forms of Marxism are now hell bent on overthrowing the Constitutional system and the economic system of the U.S.
The forces of Marxism see this as their last chance to condemn the world to their form of economic justice. That economic justice has been a proven failure whenever and wherever it has been imposed upon human beings.
Under international socialism, everyone is condemned to live a life of semi-poverty in an environment where human ambition and inventiveness are stifled and destroyed. It is a world from which eastern Europe quite recently escaped and from which Russia is still attempting to flee.
Meanwhile, the forces of Mohamedism are now embarked on a heightened chapter of jihad madness, threatening the civilized world with acts of barbarism and terrorism not seen since the Dark Ages. It is only a matter of time before the United States is again attacked. Israel is already under the gun.
The internal Marxist enemy, aided and abetted always by the American news and print media, will continue to attack America's efforts to defend itself. Already the media dogs are arrogantly attempting to portray Hizbollah as good guys who have provided health care and social services to people in Lebanon and Syria. At the same time, Israel is portrayed as the bad guy overreacting and wantonly killing Lebanese civilians. And, of course, American soldiers are endlessly portrayed as rapists, killers and torturers.
Can America survive this dual attack by both Islam and Marxism? Time will tell.
Meanwhile, let us hope that Israel rises to the challenge. Let us hope that this is finally the end of United Nations influence over the affairs of free men. Let us hope that this is the beginning of the beginning of the fight that is needed to defeat all enemies of freedom both here and abroad.

This lousy bunch of American hating, Bush hating radical leftists will never denounce our enemies. In fact, we await statements from them implying that we brought this on ourselves. America deserves it. We are the bully and we are the agressor.

It should. If you think international socialism and communism are dead, think again. They are alive and well and leading the leftist cheer leading squad hoping for defeat in Iraq and another Al Quaida attack upon the U.S.

As has always been true, socialists believe that any means may be used to serve the movement. Right now the agenda calls for the U.S. to suffer defeat in the Middle East and Central Asia. It only follows that the military have to be weakened in the eyes of our enemies.

So prepare for one story after another of American troops killing people for the fun of it. As you read these socialist tidbits passing for journalism, keep in mind that many of the stories will have been made up on the fly by the willing accomplises calling themselves reporters.

Keep faith, members of our great armed forces. Most of your fellow Americans will continue to support the nation, and the War on Terrorism.

INSANITY ON THE MARCH

It is disconcerting to see and hear the apparent march to insanity being exhibited in so many forms of late.

We have always strongly support President Bush, and he still is better than any liberal Democrat. But his stand on illegal aliens coming across the U.S. borders is borderline madness.

Mr. President, you are charged by the Constitution to enforce the laws enacted by Congress. While the legislative members posture back and forth on the immigration issue, you, Mr. President have refused to order that EXISTING laws regarding immigration be enforced. This is adding to the madness that has grown in size ever since Bubba Clinton got away unpunished for commiting felony obstruction of justice and felony perjury. You are failing us in new and frightening ways, Mr. Bush.

Meanwhile an unparalleled assault on Christianity in America reaches new levels of insanity. Sinister forces on the left arrogently blaspheme Christ the Lord. The latest Hollywood version of this assault finds its way into the movie houses of the nation under the title of DaVinci Code. This is nothing more than the latest move to demonize Christians and destroy their most sacred icons. This all the while that false prophets are protected and lauded.

In New Orleans, voting madness returns to mayoral power a man who demonstrably failed to save hundreds from death during the days following Hurricane Katrina.

On the battle fronts our troops are again ruthlessly and falsely accused of torturing and murdering those whom they are sent to fight. On the home front, Providence news columnists write lies about how our soldiers and marines are not getting enough food to eat and how they have to beg for meals from Iraqis. It was unclear if this begging takes place before or after our troops mistreat and kill the Iraqis. This is jornalistic madness reaching heights that frighten all sane Americans.

And, as we write, the head of state of a foreign nation, Vicente Fox from Mexico, is actually making a political tour in portions of the nation his unlawful citizens now claim belong to Mexico. This villain from south of the former border will actually be allowed to address the legislature of the nation's largest state; and he will be welcomed by a governor who tricked us into believing he was a conservative and a loyal American. You disgust us, Governor Schwarzenegger. You have apparently become the Terminator of American law and the Mexican version of Conan the Barbarian.

Amidst all this madness there are a few sturdy voices being heard in the halls of Congress and selected talk shows. Will these few sane voices save America from terrible times ahead or will they be drowned out and silenced by the sinister forces of the Communist left? Time will tell.

One thing should be made clear here. If there is an eventual attack by Muslim terrorists, and if the attack kills thousands of Americans, and if it is shown that the attackers entered America via the virtually open borders, then we will call for all those who have failed to stop such an attack to be swiftly punished. The blood of future terrorist attack victims will stain the hand of all those who today refuse to stand up for law and order as it applies to immigration.

Actually, Mexico's immigration policy is tough!

"All right, immigration proposals under discussion. Let me add mine to the mix. I want to call this proposal the Limbaugh Laws. Here they are.
"First, if you immigrate to the United States of America, you must speak the native language. You have to be a professional or an investor. We are not going to take unskilled workers. You will not be allowed.

"There will be no special bilingual programs in the schools, no special ballots for elections, no government business will be conducted in your native language. Foreigners will not have the right to vote, I don't care how long they are here, nor will they ever be allowed to hold political office.

"According to the Limbaugh Laws, if you're in our country, you cannot be a burden to taxpayers. You are not entitled, ever, to welfare, to food stamps, or other government goodies. You can come if you invest here, but it must be an amount equal to 40,000 times the daily minimum wage. If you don't have that amount of money, you can't come and invest. You have to stay home. If you do come and you want to buy land, okay, but we're going to restrict your options. You will not be allowed to buy waterfront property in the United States. That will be reserved for citizens naturally born in this country. In fact, as a foreigner, you must relinquish individual rights to property...

" These are the Limbaugh Laws. Another thing. You don't have the right to protest when you come here. You're allowed no demonstrations, you cannot wave a foreign flag, no political organizing, no bad-mouthing our president or his policies, or you get sent home. You're a foreigner. You shut your mouth or you get out, and if you come here illegally, you go straight to jail and we're going to hunt you down 'til we find you.

Two Canadians and a British hostage were rescued in Iraq Thursday, after a dramatic raid by multinational forces located the men.

They’d been held for almost four months, taken by a shadowy group known as the Swords of Righteousness Brigades.

Within 35 hours the world saw and heard Al Gore and Saddam Hussein getting on board with one another.

At his so-called trial, former Iraqi dictator-thug Hussein continued his chain of rants that he and his co-defendants are being abused and tortured by his American and coalition custodians.

At a Saudi economic meeting, former Vice President and 2000 presidential election loser Al Gore also protested to his approving Saudi audience that Arabs in general have been abused following the 9/11 attacks.

Similar claims of abuse and torture by American custodians have been voiced by Senator Durbin of Illinois on the floor of the United States Senate.

A number of other leftists and Democrats have continued to charge President Bush with being the real criminal in the War on Terror and they too have continually indicted Americans, especially in the military, of abusing and torturing captives.

So it appears that the Democrats and Saddam are now on the same team and following the same Democrat talking points.

CONNECTING THE DANISH FLAG DOTS

Well, folks, we're into the third day of lunatic rioting in several major Muslim communities around the world. Rioting that is caused by a newspaper cartoon that accurately portrayed Mohamed, the founder of the Islamic cult, wearing a terrorist bomb in his head gear.

The cartoon was featured in a newspaper in Denmark, and following its publication a few days ago, the whole Muslim world went berserk, or at least more than it normally is. Buildings were burned, cars overturned, people wounded by gunfire and the trademark stone throwing have all been some of the antics of choice of the demonstrators.

And now it's time to connect the dots, folks.

On a hunch I contacted ten of my neighbors and asked them if I could borrow their Danish flag for a day. If you guessed that I batted zero in my quest for the Danish cross, you guessed right. Not a single Christian neighbor had a Danish flag to spare. All this in a town that has several families with their roots in Denmark.

Yet endless mainstream media television offerings show that every Islamic mob scene featured Danish flags. There were Danish flags being burned, town, wrapped around effigies of George Bush (who has no Danish blood in him, to my recollection) and pulled down from the Danish mission in Beirut, Lebanon. The rioters had no trouble finding a way to exhibit their Danish flags in front of the lenses of all those mainstream TV cameras.

Here's where the dot connecting should begin.

If you and I, and perhaps many Danes living in Denmark, would have to search long and hard to come up with a Danish flag in a hurry, how come all these Pakistanis, Lebanese, Palestinians and Iranians found all these flags so fast; and found flags that feature the detestable cross of Christianity on top of it all? Just who provided all these Jutland banners in a snap? And who funded this massive flag production in the capitals of Islam? And why is the mainstream media so eager to show the banner of the Danes being profaned in all sorts of ways?

Could there be a movement, perhaps even a worldwide movement at the end of the dot connection trail? And is this mysterious movement even more evil and sinister than Islamic terrorism itself?

THE UNCONSCIONABLE TREATMENT OF JUDGE ALITO

It's only a matter of time before the Senate votes to confirm Judge Samuel Alito, Jr., to replace Sandra Day O'Connor as the next Associate Justice on the Supreme Court of the United States. Indeed, anyone who tuned in to last week's hearings recognized the proceedings to be political posturing by individual senators of the Committee rather than an appropriate evaluation of the judge's unquestionable intellect and stellar qualifications.

Following the hearings, both moderate Republican senators from Maine, Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe, said they "would not support a filibuster" of the nomination. Dianne Feinstein, widely considered one of the Senate's most liberal Democrats, indicated similar sentiment when questioned on CBS News' Face the Nation. "When it comes to filibustering a Supreme Court appointment, you really have to have something out there, whether it's gross moral turpitude or something, that comes to the surface," Feinstein said. "I don't see those kinds of egregious things emerging that would justify a filibuster." The more recent announcement by Senator Ben Nelson (D-Neb.) stating his intention to vote in favor of confirmation all but secured Judge Alito's fate.

It's now common knowledge that Judge Alito will ultimately be approved in committee by a 10-8 party-line vote. Absent what Democrats themselves consider to be an unlikely ability to dig up a silver bullet, he will be confirmed by the full Senate.

None of that, however, stopped Judiciary Democrats from reneging on a "good faith agreement," which was made with Republican leaders more than two months ago, to hold a committee vote on January 17. None of that prevented them from exercising their "right" to delay the long-scheduled vote on Judge Alito's confirmation for yet another week. The vote is now scheduled for January 24.

Given the obvious confirmation of soon-to-be Justice Alito, why the delay? Back in November when the so-called good faith pact was reached, the highest ranking Democrat on the Judiciary Committee, Patrick Leahy, stated unequivocally that the only conditions for violating the agreement was "if something extraordinary comes up that neither Senator Specter nor I anticipate or expect." Setting aside Senator Ted Kennedy's inappropriate theatrics during the hearings, nothing extraordinary came up - Nothing. In fact, the only explanation offered is that Democrats didn't want to cut short their Martin Luther King Day holiday.

Believe that and we have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.

No, the real motivation behind the delay is to appease the liberal special interests that primarily make their living -- a very healthy living -- opposing judicial nominees who don't openly subscribe to their radical agendas. Make no mistake, liberal groups such as People for the American Way, Alliance for Justice and MoveOn.org, wield that much influence and power. And, Senate Democrats are all too willing to bow to their demands and proceed with the ongoing strategy of obstruct and delay that has come to define them in the process.

You see, putting off Judge Alito's fate means these groups have another week to spread lies and innuendo about Judge Alito's character and attack the President in the media. It means they have another week to run their television ads in states such as Ohio, Rhode Island and Pennsylvania where Republican Senators face tough re-election battles this year. It means they have another week to find that nonexistent silver bullet in the hopes of slowing Judge Alito's momentum. It means they have yet another week to justify their relevance to their extreme liberal base.

The delay has nothing to do with Judge Alito's qualifications and ability to serve on the Supreme Court.

To date, Judge Alito's confirmation has been pending in the Senate for 79 days. By the time he's finally confirmed, it will be closer to 90 days. It's time to move on. It's time for Democrats, in good faith, to stop pandering to the liberal groups who seem to dictate their every move. It's time for them, in good faith, to stop playing politics with the federal judiciary. It's time for them, in good faith, to do their constitutional duty and permit a fair and prompt up-or-down vote.

Fortunately, Judge Alito won't have to rely on the Democrats' "good faith" for much longer.

ABORTION DESTROYS THE BLACK COMMUNITY

Washington, DC -- Millions of Americans on Monday honored the memory of assassinated civil rights leader Martin Luther King, but, as they did, pro-life leaders within the African American community were concerned about the toll abortion is taking.

"Far and away the worse toll is taken in the most vulnerable community, the African American community, where black women are three times more likely to have an abortion than their white counterparts," explains Starr Parker, president of the Coalition on Urban Renewal and Education.

African American women make up 13.7 percent of the U.S. population of women of childbearing age, yet the abortion rate among Black women is three times higher than of white women. For every five African American women that get pregnant three will have abortions.

Parker explains that moral principles and freedom are often at odds with each other, as they are in the abortion debate. She says moral principles in opposition to slavery made Americans more free and the same can happen with regard to abortion.

"Americans know today that Roe v. Wade has pushed that envelope," Parker said. "We live daily with wholesale abuse of human life that devalues America and Americans. This loss of value and perspective has weakened us and made us less free."

Nicole Redden understands the devastating effects of abortion firsthand. Her 15-year-old cousin Tamiia Russell was six months pregnant when she died from a legal abortion in Michigan in January 2004.

"This stuff needs to stop," said Redden. "People need to take a first hand look at what happens here."

Redden said that Tamiia used an identification card with another woman's picture to state she was 19, as abortions cannot be performed on minors in Michigan without parental consent.

According to Redden, the woman in the picture ID looked nothing like Russell -- but the abortion was done anyway at the WomanCare of Southfield abortion facility.

"Afro-American women have been victimized by the abortion industry for profit," Rev. Clenard Childress the director of LEARN, a black pro-life organization, explains. "Each day 1,452 Black infants are killed for profit and ... much of our current leadership are silent. Political alliances have caused us to 'sell out' our women and our children."

While black political leaders frequently support abortion, they're not representative of the African American community.

When the NAACP took an official position in favor of abortion in the early part of 2004, which it has since quietly rescinded, a poll conducted by Black Enterprise Magazine found that 60% of African Americans disapproved of the decision.

Meanwhile, in an August poll sponsored by Pace University and Rock the Vote, 54 percent of all Americans declared themselves pro-life while just 44 percent said they supported legal abortion. However, African-American voters took a pro-life position by a larger 59 to 42 percent margin.

Parker explains that traditionally black churches are waking up to the way abortion has denigrated the African American community.

"Black pastors and their congregants are waking up to the fact that the liberal agenda that they have been supporting all these years does not liberate but denigrates, dehumanizes, and enslaves," Parker said.

However, pro-life groups and crisis pregnancy centers are reaching out to the black community.

Janine Simpson, director of Urban Center Development for CareNet, a network of more than 900 pregnancy resource centers, says abortion businesses target black women and "an estimated 70 percent of abortion providers are in minority neighborhoods."

But groups like CareNet are working to open centers across the country that provide practical help and resources for pregnant women.

SAM ALITO PANICS THE DEMS

All Americans can be proud of Judge Sam Alito as they view the Senate Judiciary Committee hearings leading toward the judge's membership on the Supreme Court of the United States.

The quality of Judge Alito and his intellectual prowess can easily be gauged by the pathetic and slimy attempts of the Democrat senatorial windbags on the committee. Their performance clearly betrays the panic of the left as it begins to realize that Judge Alito is the start of their worst nightmare, a nightmare that may last long after some of the bloviating committee Democrats have gone to their final reward.

One can only imagine what these Democrat scoundrels will do should President Bush get the chance to appoint one more, and perhaps two more, Supreme Court justices. They may call for revolution in the streets to stop the Court from becoming overwhelmingly conservative.

Thus, Judge Alito is only the warm up for future demonstrations of liberal lunacy that may well spell the final end of a Democrat Party that was once in touch with a large part of mainstream America. That end can't some fast enough.

NEWS MEDIA STARTS 2006 WITH A BANG

But this only goes along with all the reported rapes and murders in the Superbowl in New Orleans, and let's not forget the stellar reporting of deliberate destruction of the levies by GW and all the sniping at the rescue helicopters.

The first and greatest tenet of journalism is CONFIRMATION! CONFIRMATION! CONFIRMATION!

As years have passed you have done none of it, as witnessed by Peter Jennings, Dan Rather and their many cohorts.

And let's not forget the omission of news that does not fit your agenda. New York Times, Boston Globe, ABC, CBS, NBC, NECN et al: Does this sound familiar?

The job of the media is REPORTING news, not MAKING or fabricating it.

Yet somewhere along the line the roles of our entrusted bodies have changed: The Supreme Court makes laws instead of interpreting them; the Media enforces a left-wing agenda instead of relaying information to its public; Congress does nothing, and then we demand that the Military clean up your mess!

Yet you continue to embrace the philosophies that in other countries have enslaved and forbidden the truth. Remember: If this country ever should fall, yours will be the first to be exterminated by the new conquerors. If you feel this is not so, just take off the rose-colored glasses and look at the citizenry in Iran, Syria, China and the many countries of the so-called United Nations!

Many of the media do their best to besmirch the lions of this country. If those of you to whom this applies are able to read, perhaps you may recall the title of a famous book telling of what will remain: 'A Nation of Sheep'!

SADDAM USES DEMOCRATS FOR HIS DEFENSE

At a trial session on Thursday, Saddam Hussein of Iraq let go with another of his verbal outbursts.
Saddam raised his voice to proclaim that George Bush is a liar and that Bush knew Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction prior to the arrival of American forces.
Saddam further screamed that he is a victim of abuse and torture at the hands of his American military captors.
Thus Saddam Hussein, the Butcher of Baghdad, signed on with liberals and Democrats who are making the very same accusations in Congress and the mainstream media.
In other words, Saddam Hussein has found that using the arguments of Democrats is useful as he tries to avoid the hanging he so richly deserves.

On one hand, we wish Malloy and Air America Radio would disappear. On the other hand, as we have opined in the past, this bunch of left wing lunatics helps conservativism in a way nothing else could. Any politically moderate voter, and surely many well-intentioned Democrats, need nothing more than a few moments of listening to Mike Malloy to become convinced just how far liberalism has fallen.
Intended to boost the Democrat vote totals, Malloy and the rest of the Air America, or more precisely Hate America Radio, are helping to advance the day when nobody could seriously consider voting for a modern day Democrat.
What must it be like to wake up every morning like a Mike Malloy? What must it be like to start each day loathing America and hoping that everything America does goes bad? What must it be like to drag oneself through each day like Malloy, spewing vitriol and vile hatred against the majority of Americans.
We can only add Malloy's name to that infamous bunch of Christmas haters: Karl Marx, Lenin, Joe Stalin, the entire ACLU, Ebenezer Scrooge and the Grinch.

JUSTICE IS SERVED

The execution of Stanley Williams is a reminder of exactly what the justice system is and what it is not.

In pure justice, the family members of those murdered by Williams obtained the moral right to go after Williams themselves. Once they had found him they would have been morally right in killing him.

This manner of obtaining justice was in effect for thousand of years, but in today's world the right to extract justice has been taken out of the hands of those directly involved and placed in the hands of lawfully established governments.

The bottom line is this: The justice system exists to mete out justice. This is its first and essential purpose. All other aspects of the system, including extending mercy, helping lawbreakers to become rehabilitated, and handing out other decrees are secondary to the prime purpose of the system.

When Williams murdered, he made a personal choice to forfeit his own right to live. Murder cries out in justice for the murderer to pay with his own life. Only in this way are the scales of justice balanced to perfection.

With the death of Williams, justice has been served with respect to the four victims of his crimes.

Nothing else matters so long as we are in favor of justice.

MICHAEL REAGAN BLASTS HOWARD DEAN

Michael Reagan, son of the late President Ronald Reagan, is blasting Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean for declaring that the U.S. won't be able to win the war in Iraq, saying Dean ought to be "hung for treason."
"Howard Dean should be arrested and hung for treason or put in a hole until the end of the Iraq war!" Reagan told his Radio America audience on Monday.
Reagan was reacting to Dean's comments earlier in the day, when the top Democrat said that the "idea that we're going to win the war in Iraq is an idea which is just plain wrong."
In a Texas radio interview, Dean predicted a rerun of the Vietnam debacle, where U.S. forces had to withdraw after Congress voted to cut support for South Vietnam's government.
"This is the same situation we had in Vietnam," Dean said. "Everybody then kept saying, 'just another year, just stay the course, we'll have a victory.' Well, we didn't have a victory, and this policy cost the lives of an additional 25,000 troops because we were too stubborn to recognize what was happening."
Dean said he favored a plan to immediately withdraw National Guard and Reserve troops - with all military personnel slated to be out of Iraq within two years.

DEMOCRATS ESTABLISHING SADDAM HUSSEIN'S DEFENSE

Led by a former Attorney General of the United States, any number of mainstream Democrats are establishing a line of defense that Saddam Hussein would be wise to use in court as he attempts to avoid the hanging he so richly deserves.

Ramsey Clark, who was Attorney General under President and Democrat Lyndon Johnson, has become a true national disgrace. He appeared Monday in black robes as a part of the defense team hoping to spring Saddam.

Essentially, Clark and the rest of Saddam's legal defense team will be using the same reasons that John Kerry, Nancy Pelosi, Howard Dean, John Murtha, and many other Democrats have put forward in recent days. Bush lied. Bush caused a war needlessly. Iraq is a quagmire. America is the invader. American troops are the occupiers. American troops are terrorizing innocent Iraqi civilians. The war is illegitimate. And the list goes on and on.

If Saddam is wise he will invoke all the reasons Democrats are putting forth. By so doing, he may be able to defeat the new Iraqi government and perhaps even return to power. With help from Ramsey Clark and most of the left wing Democrats, perhaps Saddam can have his palaces restored. John Kerry might even want to lead a parade in Saddam's honor to celebrate the Butcher of Baghdad's return to power. Pelosi and Company could supervise the departure of evil American military forces, making sure that soldiers who tortured and killed innocent Iraqis were themselves made to pay the price of their brutality. Why any and all of this would be worth it if George Bush's poll numbers can be lowered and Republicans be forced to admit there is no such thing as a War on Terror.

The precipitous return of Democrats to the good old days of Jane Fonda and George McGovern represents a sad moment in American politics. The fact that this bunch of leftists are in control of a major political party is disturbing. These are the people who must never be allowed to take charge of America's defense in the months and years ahead.

LEFT WING CHRISTIAN EXTREMISTS

In case you thought such folks did not exist, check the latest news reports that members of Chicago based Christian Peacemaker Teams have had four of their members kidnapped by Islamic thugs in Iraq.

The victims are two Canadians, one American and one Brit. Al Jazeera Television has shown video of the four, being held by a happy bunch called the Swords of Righteousness Brigade.

True to their nature as left wing lunatics, the Christian Peacemaker Teams are blaming, guess who? The United States and Coalition Forces in Iraq naturally.

CPT also is expressing hope that the U.S. does not try to militarily rescue the kidnapped quartet.

CPT in the past has always indicted Israel for inflicting brutality upon hapless Palestinians. Never has this left wing extremist group found the killing of Israelis by terrorists to be offensive in any way.

Imagine how comforting it must be to the four kidnapped hostages to realize that their own Christian left wing brethren don't want anyone to come to their rescue. I mean, such a rescue attempt might, after all, offend the sensibilities of their captors. And we would never want to make the Islamic Sunshine Boys mad now, would we.

It is unfathomable to try to understand how any group calling itself Christian would leave its own members at the mercy, or more likely the lack thereof, of Islamic bloodthirsty lunatics.

In truth, the CPT sounds to us like a socialist One World movement masquerading as a bunch of religious devotees. It is all too apparent that socialists and Communists have infiltrated deeply into formerly authentic religious organizations. It is all part of the ideological civil war that is now underway in America.

And these are the people who look with disfavor upon the Jerry Falwells and Pat Robertsons of the world. I don't know about you, but if I am ever held by terrorists, I hope a bunch of Right Wing Christians and not the CPT, is on the way with help.

ATTA PAPERS DESTROYED ON ORDERS

WASHINGTON - A Pentagon employee was ordered to destroy documents that
identified Mohamed Atta as a terrorist two years before the 2001 attacks,
a congressman said Sept. 15.

The employee is prepared to testify next week before the Senate Judiciary
Committee and was expected to identify the person who ordered him to
destroy the large volume of documents, said Rep. Curt Weldon, R-Pa.

Weldon declined to identify the employee, citing confidentiality matters.
Weldon described the documents as "2.5 terabytes" - as much as one-fourth
of all the printed materials in the Library of Congress, he added.

A Senate Judiciary Committee aide said the witnesses for the Sept. 21
hearing had not been finalized and could not confirm Weldon's comments.

Army Maj. Paul Swiergosz, a Pentagon spokesman, said officials have been
"fact-finding in earnest for quite some time."

"We've interviewed 80 people involved with Able Danger, combed through
hundreds of thousands of documents and millions of e-mails and have still
found no documentation of Mohamed Atta," Swiergosz said.

He added that certain data had to be destroyed in accordance with
existing regulations regarding "intelligence data on U.S. persons."

Weldon has said that Atta, the mastermind of the attacks of Sept. 11, and
three other hijackers were identified in 1999 by a classified military
intelligence unit known as "Able Danger," which determined they could be
members of an al-Qaida cell.

On Wednesday, former members of the Sept. 11 commission dismissed the
"Able Danger" assertions. One commissioner, ex-Sen. Slade Gorton, R-
Wash., said, "Bluntly, it just didn't happen and that's the conclusion of
all 10 of us."

Weldon responded angrily to Gorton's assertions.

"It's absolutely unbelievable that a commission would say this program
just didn't exist," Weldon said Thursday.

Pentagon officials said this month they had found three more people who
recall an intelligence chart identifying Atta as a terrorist prior to the
Sept. 11 attacks.

Two military officers, Army Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer and Navy Capt. Scott
Phillpott, have come forward to support Weldon's claims.

EXPOSING MORE LIBERAL HYPOCRISY

A new book by a top investigative journalist exposes the blatant hypocrisy of liberals who loudly espouse principles they disregard in their own personal lives.

In "Do As I Say (Not As I Do): Profiles in Liberal Hypocrisy," Hoover Fellow Peter Schweizer reveals the glaring contradictions between the public stances and real-life behavior of prominent liberals including Michael Moore, Ted Kennedy, Al Franken, Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi and Ralph Nader – among others.

"Hypocrisy has proved to be a wonderful weapon for liberals in their war against conservatives," Schweizer writes in the November issue of NewsMax Magazine.

"Yet for all the talk about conservative hypocrisy, there has been very little investigation into the prevalence of hypocrisy on the left."

After two years of research into liberal hypocrisy, Schweizer said, "what I discovered was just stunning."

Schweizer's well-annotated book, published by Doubleday, has just been released and its sure to turn several well-known liberals red with anger.

Among the eye-opening revelations of "Do As I Say":

Filmmaker Michael Moore insists that corporations are evil and claims he doesn't invest in the stock market due to moral principle. But Moore's IRS forms, viewed by Schweizer, show that over the past five years he has owned shares in such corporate giants as Halliburton, Merck, Pfizer, Sunoco, Tenet Healthcare, Ford, General Electric and McDonald's.

Staunch union supporter Rep. Nancy Pelosi (Calif.) has received the Cesar Chavez Award from the United Farmworkers Union. But the $25 million Northern California vineyard she and her husband own is a non-union shop.
The hypocrisy doesn't end there. Pelosi has received more money from the Hotel Employees and Restaurant Employees union than any other member of Congress in recent election cycles.

But the Pelosis own a large stake in an exclusive hotel in Rutherford, Calif. It has more than 250 employees. But none of them are in a union, according to Schweizer, author of "The Bushes: Portrait of a Dynasty" and a regular contributor to the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and other periodicals.

The Pelosis are also partners in a restaurant chain called Piatti, which has 900 employees. The chain is – that's right, a non-union shop.

Ralph Nader is another liberal who claims that unions are essential to protect worker rights. But when an editor of one of his publications tried to form a union to ameliorate miserable working conditions, the editor was fired and the locks changed on the office door.

Self-described socialist Noam Chomsky has described the Pentagon as "the most vile institution on the face of the earth" and lashed out against tax havens and trusts that benefit only the rich.
But Chomsky has been paid millions of dollars by the Pentagon over the last 40 years, and he used a venerable law firm to set up his irrevocable trust to shield his assets from the IRS.

Air America radio host Al Franken says conservatives are racist because they lack diversity and oppose affirmative action. But fewer than 1 percent of the people he has hired over the past 15 years have been African-American.

Ted Kennedy has fought for the estate tax and spoken out against tax shelters. But he has repeatedly benefited from an intricate web of trusts and private foundations that have shielded most of his family's fortune from the IRS.

One Kennedy family trust wasn't even set up in the U.S., but in Fiji.
Another family member, environmentalist Robert Kennedy Jr., has said that it is not moral to profit from natural resources. But he receives an annual check from the family's large holdings in the oil industry.

Barbra Streisand has talked about the necessity of unions to protect a "living wage." But she prefers to do her filming and postproduction work in Canada, where she can pay less than American union wages.

Bill and Hillary Clinton have spoken in favor of the estate tax, and in 2000 Bill vetoed a bill seeking to end it. But the Clintons have set up a contract trust that allows them to substantially reduce the amount of inheritance tax their estate will pay when they die.
Hillary, for her part, has written and spoken extensively about the right of children to make major decisions regarding their own lives, including having abortions without parental notification.

But she barred 13-year-old daughter Chelsea from getting her ears pierced and forbid the teen from watching MTV or HBO.

Billionaire Bush-basher George Soros says the wealthy should pay higher, more progressive tax rates. But he holds the bulk of his money in tax-free overseas accounts in Curacao, Bermuda and the Cayman Islands.
Schweizer writes: "Liberals claim to support affirmative action but don't practice it. They support higher taxes but set up complicated tax shelters to avoid paying them. They claim to be ardent environmentalists but abandon their cause when it impinges on their own property rights.

"The reality is that liberals like to preach in moral platitudes. They like to condemn ordinary Americans and Republicans for a whole host of things - racism, lack of concern for the poor, polluting the environment, and greed.

"But when it comes to applying those same standards to themselves, liberals are found to be shockingly guilty of hypocrisy.

"The media and the American people need to hold them accountable."

MOHAMMED MICHAEL JACKSON

The Associated Press reports that Michael Jackson, currently living in Bahrain, may never return to live in the United States.
"He'll come back to visit, but not to stay, not to live," said Jackson's father, Joseph Jackson. "They didn't treat him right here. I know if I was him, I wouldn't come back," Daddy Jackson went on to say.
Daddy further went on to say that Michael is looking foward to resuming his musical career and hopes to hook up with his two brothers in future endeavors.
Michael Jackson also is working on a charity single with R. Kelly and Snoop Dogg, supposedly with proceeds going to hurricane relief.
And you thought FEMA was slow in responding.
Well, as to Michael not wanting to come back to America, Talk Radio Review is ecstatic at that possibility. Apparently Michael is in the process of renouncing his Christian roots in favor of Islam. We can't think of a better punishment for our terrorist enemies than to have Michael Jackson living in their midst.
And as to Daddy Jackson, Talk Radio Review will gladly split the plane fare to send him anywhere out of the U.S.A. Perhaps he might enjoy joining the Muslim rioters in France.
It is maddening to listen to folks who have risen to the heights of stardom and financial success bad mouthing the country that made it all possible. Begone, Jacksons. And maybe you can take Snoop Doggie and the rest of the talentless ingrates with you.

Fact: Katrina was a devastating storm. It left terrible damage to innocent people's lives and to property throughout the Gulf South.

Fact: There have been other storms as damaging and some far more damaging. What, then, is different about this storm? Here are a few tentative thoughts.

First, the incompetence of the local and state authorities in Louisiana and especially New Orleans was breathtaking. To issue a mandatory evacuation order without providing means of transport is almost criminally irresponsible. To take citizens to shelters where they would be beaten, robbed, and raped, and to provide no police protection for them was astoundingly incompetent. To allow armed gangs to shoot at rescuers was almost beyond belief.

Second, the response of the federal government is described as slow, and it was slow at first. But can anyone name a natural disaster in which more federal troops, supplies, and money have been dispatched as quickly as they have been done in this disaster? Bush's response has not been unusually bad, but amazingly powerful and swift. In other hurricanes, survivors have been left for weeks on their own. In Katrina's case, the whole affected area has been covered with money and aid and troops to restore order on a scale and with speed never seen before.

Third, the networks and newspapers have been quick to cry racism because so many of the victims were black. This is total nonsense. New Orleans is a mostly black city. Obviously, most of the victims of the storm would be black. No one has been able to point to a single instance in which black victims were mistreated because of their race by whites. In fact, just the opposite has happened. The whole story is of rescues and salvation by people of all races aimed at people of all races. In a gesture never seen before, the whole heart of the nation has taken in poor, bereft black families and sheltered them absolutely without regard to race. This is a mirror of the basic goodness of Americans and the disappearance of racism as an acceptable action basis of American life. It is also a measure of the total absence of racism in the heart of George W. Bush. The media may play this as a story of race versus race, but that is pure incendiary fantasy, and dangerous nonsense.

What is the real story of Katrina is (I suggest) not so much that nature wrought fury on land, water, people, property, and animals, not at all anything about racism, not much about federal government incompetence. The real story is that the mainstream media rioted.

They used the storm and its attendant sorrows to continue their endless attack on George W. Bush. Wildly inflated stories about the number of dead and missing, totally made up old wives' tales of racism, breathless accounts of Bush's neglect that are utterly devoid of truth and of historical context -- this is what the mainstream media gave us. The use of floating corpses, of horror stories of plagues, the sad faces of refugees, the long-faced phony accusations of intentional neglect and racism -- anything is grist for the media's endless attempts to undermine the electorate's choice last November. It is sad, but true that the media will use even the most heart breaking truths -- and then add total inventions -- to try to weaken and then evict from office a man who has done nothing wrong, but has instead turned himself inside out to help the real victims.

In the meantime, George Bush does not lash out, does not attack those who falsely accuse him of the most horrible acts and neglect. Instead, he doggedly goes on helping the least among us. I don't know how he does it, but we are very lucky he does. As for truth, it eventually may be salvaged from the flooded neighborhoods of The Crescent City, but not as long as there is a lie to use to hurt an honest man trying to do the best he can, and hundreds of thousands of brave, tireless men and women who do more than point fingers and tell tales. The Katrina story is a disgrace to the people who are "reporting" it while pouring gasoline on a fire. They and their crusade against George Bush are the real stories, and they are dismal ones.

LESSONS FROM KATRINA

Hurricane Katrina has been no friend to the left wing.
New Orleans has been under Democrat control for generations, as has much of Louisiana's state apparatus. You can trace Democrat influence back to the days when Democrats spent many of their nights in white robes making sure that black Louisianans stayed on the plantation where they belonged.
According to Democrat and left wing theory, New Orleans should have been Heaven on Earth, especially for its majority black population. After all, from the New Deal right on through L.B.J.'s War on Poverty, money was poured into this region ostensibly to eradicate poverty.
Katrina has torn away the protective curtain and revealed to the world just how miserable a failure these leftists have been.
In a time of life and death crisis, most of the poor were left to fend for themselves, with no provision put into action to get them out of harm's way before Katrina had broken the levees. An evacuation plan had been drawn up in New Orleans some six years ago, yet provisions of that plan calling for use of public transit vehicles and school buses to get people out of the city were never put into action.
Democrats have been convincing many that they are the only ones looking out for the poor, for minorities and for the little guy. Yet the reality is that an area of the nation heavily under control of Democrats did not deliver what the rhetoric says.
The reality is that a Republican president and administration alone made things happen in a big way. This is not to excuse the fact that federal response was sluggish, but that is to address another issue, namely, the failure of big government bureaucracies to ever move quickly.
There are many lessons to be learned from Katrina's assault on the Gulf Coast. And one of the biggest is to understand that a Democrat welfare state is not the answer to solving the problems of the little guy.

DOWN BUT NEVER OUT

Less than two weeks from the time Hurricane Katrina ravaged portions of the Gulf Coast, Americans are again demonstrating their ability to rise to the challenge.
Katrina broke levees and allowed one of America's great cities to be plunged into almost unspeakable horror. The storm's savage winds pushed ocean water two miles inland in parts of Mississippi.
Yes, the usual crowd of doom and gloom sayers are out there still trying to score political points on the misery of Katrina's victims. The usual race baiters are out there trying to convince us that Republicans want black people to drown and government failed in a time of crisis.
Putting aside this insane rhetoric, let us look at the facts.
The greatest lesson to be learned thus far from Katrina is a lesson long preached by conservatives: that government never has been and never will be the answer to human problems.
Yes, government has its place. It provides armed forces to defend the nation when it is attacked by enemies. It regulates any number of activities, some good and far too many bad. But when a crisis on the scale of Katrina strikes, government, like all human establishments can and often is overwhelmed, just as are individuals.
We will not dwell on the doom and gloom any further. Instead, look at the outpouring of financial aid thus far sent by people across the nation to help the helpless. Look at the huge number of agencies and groups and churches that are at this moment easing pain and suffering. Look even at the unquenchable spirit of New Orleans organizers who are already saying that Mardi Gras 2006 will go on as planned, albeit scaled down a great deal under the circumstances. Rejoice in the news that the number of dead appears to be far less than what some were estimating just a few days ago. Look at the members of the military, police, fire fighters and volunteers who are even now performing duties almost beyond belief. Look at the pumps that are back working to rid New Orleans of contamination and water.
In the darkest moments of American history, our people have seldom failed to rise to the challenge. From Valley Forge to Hurricane Katrina, the strength and faith of America remains, with God's help, unbroken.

BEN STEIN ON KATRINA & GEORGE BUSH

With everything from the Race Card to the Global Warming Alarm being employed by the leftist media and some exploitive Democrats, Talk Radio Review turns to Ben Stein for his thoughts on the current situation in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama.
In a piece titled "Get Off His Back", published on Sept. 2, Ben Stein writes as follows:

A few truths, for those who have ears and eyes and care to know the truth:

1.) The hurricane that hit New Orleans and Mississippi and Alabama was an astonishing tragedy. The suffering and loss of life and peace of mind of the residents of those areas is acutely horrifying.

2.) George Bush did not cause the hurricane. Hurricanes have been happening for eons. George Bush did not create them or unleash this one.

3.) George Bush did not make this one worse than others. There have been far worse hurricanes than this before George Bush was born.

4.) There is no overwhelming evidence that global warming exists as a man-made phenomenon. There is no clear-cut evidence that global warming even exists. There is no clear evidence that if it does exist it makes hurricanes more powerful or makes them aim at cities with large numbers of poor people. If global warming is a real phenomenon, which it may well be, it started long before George Bush was inaugurated, and would not have been affected at all by the Kyoto treaty, considering that Kyoto does not cover the world's worst polluters -- China, India, and Brazil. In a word, George Bush had zero to do with causing this hurricane. To speculate otherwise is belief in sorcery.

6.) George Bush had nothing to do with the hurricane contingency plans for New Orleans. Those are drawn up by New Orleans and Louisiana. In any event, the plans were perfectly good: mandatory evacuation. It is in no way at all George Bush's fault that about 20 percent of New Orleans neglected to follow the plan. It is not his fault that many persons in New Orleans were too confused to realize how dangerous the hurricane would be. They were certainly warned. It's not George Bush's fault that there were sick people and old people and people without cars in New Orleans. His job description does not include making sure every adult in America has a car, is in good health, has good sense, and is mobile.

7.) George Bush did not cause gangsters to shoot at rescue helicopters taking people from rooftops, did not make gang bangers rape young girls in the Superdome, did not make looters steal hundreds of weapons, in short make New Orleans into a living hell.

8.) George Bush is the least racist President in mind and soul there has ever been and this is shown in his appointments over and over. To say otherwise is scandalously untrue.

9.) George Bush is rushing every bit of help he can to New Orleans and Mississippi and Alabama as soon as he can. He is not a magician. It takes time to organize huge convoys of food and now they are starting to arrive. That they get in at all considering the lawlessness of the city is a miracle of bravery and organization.

10.) There is not the slightest evidence at all that the war in Iraq has diminished the response of the government to the emergency. To say otherwise is pure slander.

11.) If the energy the news media puts into blaming Bush for an Act of God worsened by stupendous incompetence by the New Orleans city authorities and the malevolence of the criminals of the city were directed to helping the morale of the nation, we would all be a lot better off.

12.) New Orleans is a great city with many great people. It will recover and be greater than ever. Sticking pins into an effigy of George Bush that does not resemble him in the slightest will not speed the process by one day.

13.) The entire episode is a dramatic lesson in the breathtaking callousness of government officials at the ground level. Imagine if Hillary Clinton had gotten her way and they were in charge of your health care.

God bless all of those dear people who are suffering so much, and God bless those helping them, starting with George Bush.

ENFORCE THE LAW NOW IN NEW ORLEANS

As might be expected, law enforcement in New Orleans appears to be in a state of paralysis.
As Talk Radio Review pointed out recently, liberalism has feminized those whose responsibility it is to enforce the rule of law. Under the guise of compassion and so-called professionalism, far too many of today's police have been taught by college professors that they must be armed social workers rather than head-knocking cops.
The plague of liberalism extends to the military where available force is often withheld lest we upset the enemy or people in foreign countries. Liberalism seeks to weaken the military using false notions that wars and insurrections can be won without killing adversaries.
Before TV cameras today, Homeland Security Secretary Chertoff and Attorney General Gonsalez assured us that more and more law enforcement boots will be put on the ground in New Orleans to guarantee law and order. But what good are enforcement personnel, both civilian and military, if they continue to be constrained by the ACLU and other liberal power groups who continue to insist that it is wrong for cops and soldiers to use their weapons when confronted by rampant criminals taking advantage of a city in crisis.
Where, oh where, are General George Patton, Rambo and Superman when you need them? Clearly non of them are working for the Bush Administration at the moment, and none of them are on the way to restore order in a great city now under siege.
Reports have come in of people in the Convention Center being shot by robbers and rapists. Shots have been fired at aircraft near the Superdome. Other chilling reports are coming in of gangs of thugs looting, robbing and assaulting. Not bad enough that the innocent residents of New Orleans are flood refugees, that they are hungry and out of drinking water, they must now also be set upon by snakes worse than the ones in the form of reptiles.
The order must be given by someone willing to break the chains of liberal inaction. Restore civilized behavior at once in New Orleans. Shoot on sight anyone failing to immediately obey the order of any law enforcement officer or military policeman. This is what enforcement must always be in times of great crisis. And we can think of no greater crisis than the ongoing one in New Orleans.

CRISIS IN NEW ORLEANS

As of early Wednesday morning reports continue to come in regarding widespread looting and other acts of lawlessness in New Orleans, a city struggling to stay intact in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.
Martial law needs to be invoked in New Orleans at once. Pink pants politicians need to step aside and let law enforcement and military personnel put an end to criminal acts by those taking advantage of the crisis.
Looters should be warned once and then shot dead if they refuse to stop their looting. The same goes for anyone else engaging in robbery, arson, assault or any other felony within the sticken city.
Over many recent years the curse of liberalism has emasculated lawful authority, both civil and military. As a result, the bad guys have been getting away with far too much while the good guys are prevented from preserving law and order.
From Iraq, where our soldiers have to walk on egg shells for fear of firing on the enemy, to New Orleans, where martial law probably will not be effective, liberalism has empowered dark and sinister forces while law abiding citizens cower in fear.
It is time for politicians in The Crescent City to earn their salaries.
Invoke emergency martial law at once and shoot on sight those who are taking advantage of a city in crisis.
The whole nation is watching you, New Orleans politicians. Will you do what must be done or continue to add to the misery brought about by Hurricane Katrina?

THE NEW OLD ANTI-WAR GANG

The anti-war gang continues its quest for publicity at its tent camp near President Bush's Texas home.
Are these folks trying to re-live their youth, those happy days when draft cards were burned and used to light the marijuana joints? Are they seeking to go back to those long-haired, hippie protest days?
The answer is yes and no. Certainly there are many among the Crawford protesters who are stuck back in the anti-Vietnam War protest template. However, there is a new and sinister tone to this protest. The names of many of the supporting groups sound much like the old Communist Front groups of the Vietnam War era.
Fading anti-war celebrities are finding their way to Crawford. Joan Baez has already arrived, so can Willie Nelson be far behind?
Then there is the ever present rabble rouser known as Reverend Al Sharpton. His link up with the Crawford protest should foreshadow the appearance of the rest of the gang, probably led by a withering Julian Bond.
And where is Jane Fonda when you need her. Fonda is probably too high priced to make the trip to Crawford, Texas. But then, again, George Soros has unlimited funds so we may be able to hire Fonda after all.
Meanwhile, our soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan look on at this pathetic bunch of Americans giving aid and comfort to the enemy. It's the same old Vietnam War song being sung largely by the same gang of has-beens. But by now the singing voices are old and tired and the performers are equally outdated.

THE DOUBLE TRAGEDIES OF CINDY SHEEHAN

When Cindy Sheehan lost her son to enemy action in Iraq, she suffered a tragedy of war not unfamiliar to countless American mothers and wives. From Lexington Green to Iraq, the loss of loved ones who died in defense of America's interests and freedom serve to remind us all that what we have often comes at a terrible cost.
We lament that Cindy Sheehan has apparently come to feel that her son died in vain. No man or woman wearing the uniform of the U.S. military ever dies in vain. Especially now, in a time of voluntary service, each member of the armed forces knows that his or her life can be on the line. As in conflicts past, the personnel serving in Iraq exemplify all that is most noble. They are the living examples of that line in the National Anthem that defines America as the Home of the Brave.
To Cindy Sheehan, as to all who have lost love ones, we extend our prayers.
But there is an ominous side to the Cindy Sheehan story. As is common, the exploiting forces of the left wing have again struck. Having once met with President Bush and having expressed her belief that he was understanding of her grief, Cindy Sheehan has now been converted to the religion of the extreme left. Whereas Cindy previously had praise for America's efforts in Iraq and pride in her son's ultimate sacrifice, she now speaks for Michael Moore and the Air America Radio crowd. Words have been put into Cindy's mouth, and they are the defeatist words of the old familiar crowd who find America to be always at fault. The same crowd who never cease shouting that America is evil, America is an imperialist bully, and America is all that is wrong with the world.
Thus Cindy Sheehan has begun to suffer her second brutal loss. She has lost the realization that dark forces on the left have cleverly exploited her motherly grief and are using her in their relentless attempts to weaken America and make it ripe for the imposition of all the failed tenets of socialism.
We grieve for Cindy Sheehan and we condemn all those who are using her to advance their evil agendas. We pray that Cindy will take another look at her son's brave sacrifice and that she will come home again to the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave.

NARAL TAKES THE LOW ROAD

NARAL, a leftist group that supports abortion, has launched television ads targeted in Maine and Rhode Island. The ads are asking people to contact squishy Republican Senators the likes of Olympia Snow, Susan Collins and Lincoln Chaffee. The ads ask people to petition these Senators to oppose the confirmation of Judge John Roberts to the U.S. Supreme Court.
In the ads, NARAL takes the low road so often taken by the left wingers of all sorts, and far too many Democrats. The ads attempt to portray Judge Roberts as a supporter of those who have committed acts of violence against abortion clinics. Being unable to debate the issues honestly, NARAL is using the same old character assassination tactics so often invoked by the left. If honesty prevailed, NARAL would be up front and admit that what it really fears is the Catholic faith of Judge Roberts. Abortion is seen by Catholics as an unacceptable act in which a developing child is ripped from a mother's womb for whatever the reason.
Like the rest of the left wing, NARAL is afraid to admit what it really fears in Judge Roberts. So they have chosen to resort to scare tactics in a typical leftist move to demonize one who opposes their agenda.
It is always laughable when a bunch of leftists who embrace killing the unborn try to make someone else look like the bad guy.

JANE FONDA RIDES AGAIN

Both figuratively and literally.
Hanoi Jane has announced her intention to make a tour around the country in coming months to do what she did during the Vietnam War, inspire our enemies and ensure a military defeat for America.
By the way, Jane says she will make her tour using a bus that runs on vegetable oil. Sounds like a case of cruelty toward corn stalks to me. Where are the liberals when you need them!
Jane, like her many left wing whack jobs, is stuck in that anti-Vietnam War template. She, like the other liberals of her ilk, simply cannot break away from the past. They must stay in their world of anti-American, anti-military, anti-war thought.
Will Jane be up to making her upcoming tour as far reaching as her Vietnam tour? Will we soon see video clips of Jane hanging out with the boys from Al Quaida, perhaps helping them to make a roadside bomb to blow up U.S. Marines?
Or is old age finally creeping up with Jane. Will she let her pals in liberal land down by toning her anti-war protest down? We shall see.
In the meantime, Jane, just as your sympathy for America's enemies thirty years ago helped to kill more U.S. troops, so too will your modern anti-war antics help our modern day enemies. Go, Jane, go. Your goal of 2,000 dead American soldiers is well within your malignant reach.

JOHN BOLTON TO THE U.N.

It's great news from the White House, folks.
After months of Democrat obstructionism and sophist rhetoric in the Senate, President Bush will make a recess appointment of Bolton.
Recess appointments are appropriate when Congress is in recess. Congress went on vacation at the end of last week. That in itself is good news, because the country is always safer when the legislative power of government is idle.
But the August Senate recess gives the President the right to send Bolton to the United Nations weeks before the beginning of the next General Assembly in September.
The announcement of the Bolton appointment sent the scurrilous Senate Democrats into their usual sounds of fury signifying nothing.
Joe Biden and Jumpin' Jim Jeffords are among 36 Senators who sent a letter to the President telling him not to make the Bolton recess appointment. We are sure that President Bush must have shivered in his boots when he looked over the list that includes the names of all the big-government socialists disguised as Senate Democrats.
But best of all, we confidently look forward to seeing John Bolton put the United Nations on guard. Finally, in spite of the usual Democrat objections, America will have a man representing America's interests at the U.N., rather than those of the French and other America haters.

BOY SCOUT HEAVY BURDENS

Over recent years the Boy Scouts of America have become the target of several liberal assaults, with several gaining national media attention.
The Boy Scouts had used a public park in southern California for their activities over a lengthy period of time. But, liberal homosexual activists went to court and found a way to boot the Scouts out of the park on the grounds that Scout guidelines supported religion and supported a ban on homosexual scout leaders.
In other liberal instituted court actions, attempts were made to force the Boy Scouts to admit homosexuals at all levels, and to destroy long standing official Congressional support for scouting on the grounds that atheist scouts were the targets of discrimination.
In short, liberalism has had the Boy Scouts of America in its cross hairs for some time. After all, we need to get rid of a bunch of kids advocating sound moral principles and being dutiful toward the Almighty. Apparently a Hitler Youth type organization would make more sense to our fellow American National Socialist activists.
With all of this said, the tragedy in Virginia this week becomes all the more a burden of unbearable proportions.
Within seconds, four Alaska scout adult leaders died when they made contact with power lines while attempting to raise a tent support. It was all the more horrible that the adult victims died while their scout sons watched what was happening.
Instead of a fun filled scout jamboree experience, the Alaska scouts made a quick return home with the remains of their dads.
Talk Radio Review would do anything if this terrible tragedy could be reversed. But we all know that nothing can be done in the face of such happenings.
All that we can do is to ask the Lord to look kindly on the Boy Scouts of America in coming days and years. And we pray the Lord will send sufficient strength to all the Virginia jamboree scouts and their adult leaders as they finish the week while bearing a burden heavy beyond words.

STORMY ROBERTS CONFIRMATION BREWING

Since President Bush nominated Judge John Roberts for the Supreme Court, Senate Democrats have taken pains to appear conciliatory if not downright friendly.
But the leopard does not change its spots, and a skunk never smells like a rose. No one should be led to believe that the Senate Democrats are ready to confirm Judge Roberts with ease. Quite to the contrary, the demands are already being made for Roberts to turn over legal memos and papers going back to his days in the Justice Department. And the White House has already correctly given the signal that many of the old Roberts documents are inappropriate for a Senate Committee hearing.
Shades of Miguel Estrada and the Democrat obstructionism that ended with Estrada withdrawing his name rather than go through what Democrat Judiciary Committee members were asking.
One wonders if Anita Hill may be summoned by the Democrats to add her fuel to the fire. After all, Hill was recently consulted by CNN's Larry King for opinions on just what Judge Roberts is all about.
What is certain is that no amount of Roberts' paper trail will ever be sufficient to satisfy the likes of Ted Kennedy and Patrick Leahy. Judge Roberts could turn over his baby diapers containing their original poop and it still would not be enough for Dick Durbin and Carl Levin.
Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton has been hinting that she may vote to confirm Roberts. This may or may not indicate that the Democrats merely want to rant and rave without going all the way into a filibuster to block the nominee.
Nothing of substance will go forward immediately as the Senate is about to adjourn for its August break. This adjournment hopefully will allow President Bush to do a recess appointment of John Bolton to be America's U.N. ambassador. Such a move on the part of the President would be a clear signal to Senate obstructionists that the administration is finally up for a good fight.

NEW DESPERATE DEMOCRAT TARGETS

Hitting a new low, desperate Democrats zeroed in on Judge John Roberts' wife Jane Sullivan Roberts.
Jane Roberts is herself a lawyer and a staunch foe of abortion. She has provided time, money and legal advice to a small Washington group known as Feminists for Life of America.
Like her husband, Jane Roberts is a Roman Catholic, so it is almost natural that the largely anti-religious and anti-Christian leftists should single out Mrs. Roberts as a target for mud slinging.
A second sudden target for attack is former CBS newsman Bernie Goldberg. His latest book, 100 People Screwing up America, largely blasts leftists, although a few Conservatives are on Goldberg's list. Interviewed on a largely unwatched CNBC cable show, Goldberg was set up and viciously attacked by five lefties, including Ron Deutsch, the show's host. Anyone seeing Goldberg under fire on this show saw quite clearly just how much left wingers truly believe in free speech. Goldberg was unable to utter any words in his defense until he finally told the panelists that he wished they would shut up and let him speak. Sorry, Bernie, only elitist left wing snobs get to talk on Democrat controlled cable shows.
Finally we note attacks on Senator Rick Santorum from Pennsylvania. His comments that Boston liberalism contributed to an atmosphere of sexual freedom in which child abuse by priests flourished has been met by liberal wrath. While Santorum's view may not be accepted as gospel by many, it is a fact that the Boston archdiocese led the nation in number of wayward priests convicted of child sexual abuse in the last three decades. And it is also demonstrable that Boston is a citadel of liberalism. You are free to make the connection here.
Meanwhile, Democrats are in the frustrating position of seeing Karl Rove driven off the front pages of big city newspapers by such unimportant events as London terrorist bombs and the selection of Judge Roberts for the Supreme Court.
What is a Democrat to do these days? Hopefully at least the Senate Democrats will make total fools of themselves when confirmation hearings with Judge Roberts get underway.

JUDGE ROBERTS PASSES HIS FIRST TEST

Supreme Court nominee Judge John Roberts has passed his first day with flying colors.
The loonie tunes otherwise known as talk show hosts at Air America Radio are all in a tither and rage over Judge Roberts. Anyone who is nominated for the Supreme Court and is found acceptable at Air America Radio would automatically qualify as a dangerous choice for America. So Judge Roberts, by the fact you have all the Air America Radio folks upset, you have passed the first part of your test as a well qualified nominee.
But perhaps the best indicator that Judge Roberts is a splendid choice is shown by the fact that Senator Lincoln Chaffee of Rhode Island is already hinting that he may not vote to confirm the nominee.
Anyone winning the approval of Lincoln Chaffee would certainly be the worst thing that could happen to the U.S. Supreme Court.
So it is with pleasure that we announce that nominee Roberts has passed his first day with flying colors.
Condemnation by Air America Radio and a non=endorsement from Lincoln Chaffee both signal that the judicial branch of government will finally be on its way toward desperately needed improvement once John Roberts takes his seat on America's highest court.

THE ROBERTS NOMINATION

Minutes after President Bush nominated D.C. Appeals Court Judge John Roberts to be the next Supreme COurt Justice, two of our favorite looney tune Democrats came to the press microphones to voice their reservations.
We hope it was with fear and trembling that Chuckie Schumer of New York and Patty Leahy of Vermont put forth what for them sounded like fairly timid sentiments of opposition to Judge Roberts. But only time will tell.
Overnight, the marching orders will begin to flow from the left wing hierarchy in charge of today's Democrat Party. The Democrat opposition newspaper, the New York Times, will doubtless give us the first hints as to how strong a fight Senate Democrats will put up against this Bush nominee.
Leahy is a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, so he will be one to watch starting Wednesday morning.
Initial commentary from media political watchers indicates that the usual crowd of lefty loons in the Senate will be allowed to throw their usual temper tantrums, but that in the end Judge Roberts will be confirmed in time for the Supreme Court's new session in October.
We wish Judge Roberts smooth sailing as he faces the Senate loonies. If Ted Kennedy asks Judge Roberts what his position is on overturning Roe versus Wade, we hope Judge Roberts will fire back and ask Ted Kennedy what swim stroke he used at Chappaquiddick in 69. After all, one biting question deserves another.

THE SCHUMER-WILSON CONNECTION

It's always laughable when any left wing Democrat comes to the aid of the C.I.A. After all, the Democrats spent most of the Clinton years doing everything they could to trash the C.I.A. and emasculate the intelligence agency.
So it's cause to ask ourselves, what is this sudden political union between Senator Chuck Schumer of New York and former ambassador Joe Wilson? They both teamed up Thursday to fan the emotional flames concerning the ongoing Karl Rove investigation.
But how does one go about getting a press conference with any U.S. senator unless you have special relationships with that senator? So we might ask, did Wilson call Chuckie to arrange this piece of showmanship, or did Chuckie call Wilson?
Our bet is that Schumer engineered the media event with Wilson. We are also betting that Schumer has been in on a scheme with Wilson for many months and that Schumer was chief Democrat architect of a plan to embarrass President Bush by debunking Bush's assertion that Saddam Hussein had tried to buy nuclear material from the African nation of Niger.
It is almost a no-brainer to see that Bush haters working at the C.I.A. worked with Wilson's wife, herself a C.I.A. employee, to arrange a trip for Wilson to Niger so that he could then write a fictitious report designed to prove that Bush was a liar. In fact intelligence to this day confirms that Iraq's former dictator did seek uranium ore.
Was Senator Schumer involved with this devious scheme? Did the idea of the Wilson trip and subsequent anti-Bush report originate with Schumer?
It seems strange that this sudden two man team of Schumer and Wilson should appear out of nowhere.

THE FEAR AND LOATHING OF ROVE

Democrats and their mainstream media lap dogs are now on the attack against White House strategist Karl Rove.
The frenzy has been illustrated with the almost childish performance of the White House press corps. Acting as a sort of new opposition party, reporters repeatedly demanded that White House Press Secretary McClellan withdraw words of support he made for Rove some weeks ago.
McClellan declined to discuss the Rove situation until a Special Prosecutor completes investigation of charges that Rove disclosed the name of a C.I.A. operative. Reporters continued to badger McClellan to the point that they betrayed their fear and loathing of Rove.
It is important to note that a Special Prosecutor was assigned to look into the charge against Rove largely based on pressure from the mainstream media. Now the members of that same mainstream media refuse to await the completion of the investigation they so eagerly sought.
Having seen the recent assault on House Majority leader Tom DeLay fizzle out like a firecracker dud, the Democrat sharks and their media accomplices are circling around Rove, hoping he will be a victim whose blood in the water will lead them to their prime target, George W. Bush.
No explanation is needed here of the circumstances surrounding the attack on Rove. Suffice it to say that the C.I.A. operative in question had not been involved in secret assignments for almost a year before her name was mentioned to the press. Suffice it to say that the operative in question was widely known to be a C.I.A. employee and that months earlier her husband had engaged in an attempt to discredit the Bush administration over its claim that Saddam Hussein had sought to obtain nuclear material in Africa. Suffice it to say that although an attempt was made to say Saddam has never sought such material, British intelligence to this day stands by its position that Saddam did just that.
This is just the latest indication of the fear Democrats and left wingers have of rising conservative power and declining support for their largely socialist agenda.
Faced with rapidly approaching loss of a Supreme Court liberal activist majority and the realization that they will soon be totally and completely powerless at the level of federal government, Democrats led by the likes of Howard Dean will continue to betray their utter fear and panic. The mainstream media will continue to prop up this pathetic bunch of obstructionist left wingers, but to no avail.
As Zel Miller has put it, the Democrat Party we once knew is no more. It is a frantic bunch willing to attack and destroy anyone and anything in its attempt to regain voter support.

SLIPS OF LIBERAL TONGUES

The forked tongues of leftist politicians have been slipping in recent days.
Campaigning in Florida for Senator Nelson, Senator Barak Obama from Illinois confessed that Democrats may have strayed lately from their core values and principles. He expressed the idea that Democrats may need to study carefully so as to define what the party core values and principles are.
Sorry, Senator, but you just let down your guard. People who have core values and principles do not have to study and re-evaluate such things. By their very nature, core values and principles do not change based on what is politically advantageous at the moment. Obviously, Senator, Democrats are trying to come up with some sort of contrived and phoney set of principles hoping that they can then pass them off on voters as genuine.
Appearing on national TV, Senator Upchuck Schumer from New York indicated that any Supreme Court nominee sent to the Senate Judiciary Committee will face a trial. An examination of the Constitutional role of the Senate to advise and consent on judicial nominations fails to show any requirement that such nominees be put on trial before they obtain a Senate floor vote. What Schumer is inadvertently telling us all is that today's brand of leftist Democrats are so afraid of losing control of the Supreme Court that they will do anything and everything to block the appointment of justices who will not serve as liberal activists.
Sorry, Chucky, but any attempt to put Bush nominees on trial will be seen by the voters as just more leftist obstructionism and a continuation of that cry baby liberal tantrum that has been going on now since the hanging chad ballot count in Florida way back in 2000.
You lost then, Chuck, you lost again in 2004 and you are about to lose big time at the Supreme Court.

DENNIS: A MISSED OPPORTUNITY

A few days ago Hurricane Dennis skirted the south coast of Cuba on its way to Sunday's landfall in the Florida Panhandle.
We were hoping for a bit of U.S. Marine ingenuity and creativity at Guantanamo Bay. We were hoping to hear that the entire terrorist jail had been engulfed by a tidal surge that carried the whole prisoner population into the Caribbean.
Since none of the politicians would have been at Gitmo during the time of a hurricane, the Marines could have assisted Dennis in making everyone happy.
First, those calling for Gitmo to be closed would be happy, since its being swept away would have ended that aspect.
Secondly, the Marines would have been happy to finally get the better meals that the terrorists have been eating.
Thirdly, Amnesty International and the ACLU would have been happy that Gitmo torture had finally ended.
Fourth, most Americans would have been happy to hear that several hundred potential killers had been eliminated.
And, last but not least, the terrorist prisoners themselves would now be happy that they had gone to their deaths and met all those Virgins in Paradise.
But, sadly, it was not to be. Apparently the Marines did their usual thing and provided heavy weather protection for the inmates. We can only hope, since the hurricane season is young, that more opportunities will swirl toward Gitmo in coming weeks.

THE LONDON UNDERGROUND THEN AND NOW

For those old enough to remember, London's subway system, known as the Underground, served as a safe haven and refuge for thousands of Londoners during the World War II blitz.
During the Battle of Britain, German planes bombed London for weeks on end. The Underground tubes offered protection to people from the hell raining down from Nazi planes. The ordeal of riding out a Nazi attack in the tubes is well documented in books, movies and drama, not to mention the countless archived photographs of frightened civilians hoping for the all clear sirens.
But that was then and this is now.
In contrast with World War II, today the London Underground was a place of death and horror. Within the tubes that once sheltered people, today's terrorists set off their bombs. It was a bizarre reversal of times gone by.
There is no need to review the level of depravity and hate that fueled Nazi Germany and resulted in bombings from the sky.
There is an intense need, however, for everyone to recognize the new level of depravity, cruelty and hate that motivates today's band of savages. Until there is a unified recognition of who and what the enemy are, that enemy will continue to inflict death and destruction wherever it wills. So long as the enemy senses that civilized people are not united in the war on terror, the enemy will be planning on how to put the next targets in its sights.

LIMBAUGH CLUB GITMO ITEMS SCORE BIG

Rush Limbaugh has cashed in on Senator Dick Durbin and numerous other leftists who paint the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay as a place of torture, mistreatment and bad food.
Quite the contrary, says Rush. He opines that Gitmo prisoners have it better than they ever did in their home countries. So much so that Rush has dubbed the place Club Gitmo, in a takoff on Club Med resorts.
What better way to advertise Club Gitmo than with a variety of apparel including T-Shirts and hats, as well as coffee mugs.
The items sport such touristy slogans as "I got my free Koran and Prayer Rug at Club Gitmo", "Your tropical retreat from the stress of Jihad", and a Las Vegas ad takoff "What happens in Gitmo stays in Gitmo".
Also offered is a mug bearing the slogan "Jihad Java Cafe at Club Gitmo".
All of the items are done with a brilliant orange background identical to the color of the jump suits worn by terrorist prisoners in Cuba.
According to Rush, all items are flying off the shelves, even at a price of twenty bucks for most. The going price is probably cheap when one estimates the eBay auction value of these things in years to come.
And for those who have already bought the Club Gitmo items, you can submit a photo of anyone wearing them in locations sure to irritate liberals. The best photos are being posted on the Limbaugh web site.
Brilliant marketing, Rush. We are hoping and praying that George W. Bush wears one of the shirts or hats at a forthcoming press conference. A picture of that would be sure to take first prize.

A THIRD TERM FOR GEORGE BUSH

The liberals and associated socialists, Communists and the rest of the anti-American crowd are in a tither.
Sandra Day O'Connor is retiring from the Supreme Court and with that announcement the left wing knows that George Bush is about to start his third term.
As if the re-election of Bush in 2004 wasn't enough to drive the left crazy, Bush is about to appoint at least two Supreme Court justices and has an excellent chance fo appoint a third. The resignation of Chief Justice Rehnquist is a given due to his age and ill health. If a sitting justice is nominated to be the Chief, Bush gets a third slot to fill.
The thought of Bush establishing a 6 to 3 or even a 7 to 2 constitutional majority on the Court is equal in the sick minds of the extreme left wing to a third term for Bush.
The only thing that can upset this third Bush term is Bush himself. Will he cave into the usual bunch of undecided and wishy washy, publicity hound Republicans, or will he do what the nation desperately needs? The question is unanswered as of the moment, but when Bush announces his nominee for Justice O'Connor, we will have a fairly good idea as to what road the President will take in the rest of his second and the start of his third term.

OUR TERRORIST FOUNDING FATHERS

When White House strategist Karl Rove defined the difference between liberals and conservatives he used but a few words.
"Conservatives saw the savagery of the 9/11 attacks and prepared for war," said Rove. "Liberals saw the savagery of the 9/11 attacks and wanted to prepare indictments and offer therapy and understanding to our attackers".
This past week, liberals also needed just a few words to give us their view of America's Founding Fathers. The liberals involved were NBC's Brian Williams and Andrea Mitchell. They were discussing the newly elected Iranian President and his role in the 1979 American Embassy hostage situation.
"Andrea, what would it all matter if proven true as someone brought up today the first several U.S. Presidents were certainly revolutionaries and might have been called terrorists at the time by the British Crown after all".
"Indeed, Brian," Andrea Mitchell unhesitatingly replied.
This observation by Williams made us think. Suddenly we recalled the horse cart bombings carried out by Madison and Monroe. There were the roadside Stage Coach bombs and how could we have forgotten the many early Americans who blew themselves up as suicide bombers at British checkpoints on orders from General Washington. And, of course, careless of us to ever forget the live beheadings of Tories done by John Adams and Tom Jefferson.
The incessant attempts of liberals to create a moral equivalency between America and America's enemies is disgusting. We wonder how this crowd can believe they do not offend most Americans with their rhetoric.
Especially on the eve of Independence Day, it is all the more offensive.

LIBERALS SHY AWAY FROM COURT DECISION

Did you notice how the liberal crowd went silent when the U.S. Supreme Court recently decided to assault private property rights?
On virtually every liberal talk show, you could hear a pin drop. When the Court decision was brought up by callers, liberal talk hosts quickly changed the subject.
Now in general the liberal crowd adores the Supreme Court. They look to it as their only instrument of power. They count on the liberal justices to legislate from the bench and advance the left wing agenda. Usually the liberals are pleased with what the justices do. But this time around, the results were not too pleasing to the left.
As a matter of record, let's state that those voting to protect private property rights in the recent decision were Rehnquist, Thomas, Scalia and O'Connor. Those voting to take away private property rights were Breyer, Souter, Stevens, Kennedy and Ginsburg.
Or to put it not so gently, the five liberal justices were eager to assert the power of government over private property ownership. And the four Conservative justices stood firm in defense of property rights.
The decision in question all the more helps to emphasize just how imperative it is for President Bush to nominate true Conservatives as quickly as possible. Failure to end a Supreme Court liberal majority will mean the loss of much more than mere property rights.

WAGON CIRCLING BEGINS

The announcement of Sandra Day O'Connor's retirement sent liberals and moderates into initial wagon circling mode almost immediately.
Laura Ingraham's Senior Balloon from Massachusetts wasted no time in taking to the Senate floor to briefly say nice words about Justice O'Connor and then hit his main points. Wind Bag Ted Kennedy wasted no time in lecturing President Bush on who he and the rest of the left wing in the Senate want nominated to replace O'Connor. It was another one of those "they just don't get it" moments with Democrats again acting as if they are the majority.
Equally revealing of the hasty wagon circling was the press conference called by Senator Warner from Virginia. His interest lies in keeping the infamous Gang of Seven alive along with its pathetic partisan treason. Warner hinted to the reporters that he hopes President Bush will work with the Senate. In other words, Warner wants Bush to nominate a justice that Ted Kennedy likes.
Thankfully, Justice O'Connor broke news of her retirement on the day before the Senate adjourned for a long July 4th recess. Had the news come with the Senate in regular business mode, we might have had to endure an endless stream of bloviating Democrats and an equally obnoxious crew of RINO Republicans engaging in verbal wagon circling.
One thing sure to happen as a result of this Supreme Court vacancy is the separation of the men from the boys. We trust President Bush will be one of the men and nominate a real Conservative to replace O'Connor. And we will be watching carefully to identify the senators in favor of the Constitution versus those in favor of a left wing judicial dictatorship.

A NEW COW FOR LIBERALS

The President delivered his Wednesday night speech on the Iraq War and the War on Terroism in particular and within minutes, liberals were having a cow.
Liberals always have a cow whenever George Bush fails to say or do all the things they would say or do.
So when the President called for continued support for the military effort in Iraq, liberals recoiled because they are against the military errort in Iraq.
When the President emphasized the positive developments since the Iraq operation began, liberals were irritated because they detest any hint of positive Iraq results.
But it was especially when the President reminded us all that Iraq is just one part of the ongoing War on Terrorism that the real bovine delivery pains began for the lefties. The one thing they want us all to forget is the War on Terrorism. They want to forget 9/11 and the fact that it will take many years to overcome the major terrorist threat.
Even though President Bush has told us from the beginning that this would be a long struggle, liberals have always reverted to their masturbatory mind set of instant gratification. In their eyes the war should have ended months ago. They continue to pull their hair out because Osama Bin Laden has not been caught. They continue to gloat over every soldier killed or wounded in the combat zones. They want victory right here and now and when it doesn't happen they conceive the next cow for the next delivery.
Nothing President Bush would ever say or do would please the this crowd. Aided by the mainstream media these lefties continue to support the enemy with their every word and action. Al Jazeera is fully in praise of the American left and its lack of support for the war. You would think liberals would see this and change their ways. It will never happen. The American left is thoroughly extremist. It hates George Bush worse than it hates the terrorists.
So get ready, folks. It's time for the liberals to have their latest cow. And the delivery will be long and painful.

AMERICA'S STATE RELIGION

Is atheism rapidly becoming the state religion of the United States?
Based upon important Federal Court decisions involving any faith involving God, atheism clearly finds favor. All trappings, all mention of God are ruled out of order by the Courts.
Where is freedom of speech when religious people are told they cannot pray in certain places? Clearly freedom of speech must yield to avoid offending advocates of the evolving State Religion, atheism.
To those who delight in rewriting American history the establishment of atheism as the official national belief is viewed in a favorable light. To those who have studied American history, atheism does not even find a place of respect. If the statements of the Founding Fathers of the Republic extolling belief in God, and Christianity in particular, were to be written here, you would have to scan hundreds of pages. In fact, the most prominent Americans in the life of our country in the last two hundred years flatly stated that if God and religion were removed from government, the American nation would be rapidly on the way to its end.
Who and what are establishing the State Religion of atheism? Obviously Federal judges serving left wing agendas are high on the list. But there is much more behind the effort. Any number of well organized extremist groups have suddenly come forward to help in abolishing all religions except atheism.
In world history, and especially recent history, every evil and totalitarian movement has championed atheism. The Soviet Union quickly closed and padlocked all houses of worship following Lenin's rise to power. Under Hitler people of faith were put to death in systematic fashion.
The extermination of religion and its symbols and rich involvement in America's development is a sign of horrors yet to come. The establishment of atheism as the National State Religion would end freedom of speech and thought completely.
When judges dictate against the will of the majority and proclaim the nonexistent notion of Constitutional separation of church and state, why is atheism exempt?
Government should have no place in religion. This is what the Constitution actually mandates. The free exercise of religion means just what it says. But in the world of today's left wing judicial dictators, who cares about what the Constitution says?

KARL ROVE HITS THE LIBERAL NERVE

When White House strategist Karl Rove recently spoke at a fund raising event he apparently hit the liberal funny bone with a double whammy.
According to Rove, following the 9/11 attacks, conservatives girded themselves for war, while liberals wanted to prepare legal indictments and offer therapy and understanding to the attackers. It was one of those sweet moments when deceptive left wingers hear their own precise description coming back to haunt them.
Eagerly supported by the mainstream media, Democrat after Democrat seized upon Rove's words as an opportunity to shift attention from Senator Durbin's remarks calling Gitmo guards Nazis. From the same crowd that never once blinked at Durbin's outrageous remarks came cries for Rove to resign at once.
This writer can give a personal report on just how correct Rove was in his liberal post-9/11 description.
While on Cape Cod just before military action against Afghanistan was about to begin, and only weeks after the 9/11 attacks, I passed a million dollar summer home sporting a huge bed sheet hung like a flag. On the sheet were written the words: WAR IS NEVER THE ANSWER. Of course, the words were appropriately surrounded by liberal flowers and butterflies painted in psychedelic colors.
This is the leftist starting point. If attacked never use force to defend. Just spark up another joint and everything will be fine. They believe it and they act accordingly. It is part of that dream leftists desperately cling to of establishing Paradise on earth. The promise of Utopia.
The terrorist enemy is well aware of this liberal outlook on self-defense. They are counting on it to weaken America's resolve.
The sad fact is many leftists openly voiced their displeasure that the 9/11 attacks came after Clinton. If only Clinton had been president on the day of 9/11. Then Bush the Republican would have been deprived of such a political opportunity.
But if 9/11 had happened on Clinton's watch, Osama Bin Laden would have faced no more than an indictment by a Federal Grand Jury, the Taliban would still be in control of Afghanistan and Iraq would have remained in the grip of Saddam Hussein.
Karl Rove adequately and fully described the attitude of leftists, not only in the way they viewed 9/11 but in the way they still view the War on Terrorism. Left to liberal appeasement and inaction, America would be facing a danger far greater than the current level. Faced with leftist inability to fight when a fight is required, America would be well on its way to losing the war.

THAT ANNOYING SIDE OF SEVERIN

A large part of Jay Severin's audience called by him as the "best and brightest" occasionally have to hold their noses when Jay retreats back to his young liberal years and the anti-Vietnam War protest template.
We held our noses on Thursday when Jay decided to endorse the words of Ted Kennedy regarding the Iraq War.
Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld appeared before a Senate committee and was challenged by Kennedy.
According to Rumsfeld, Kennedy's view of the Iraq War is 180 degrees from the truth. And according to Kennedy, everything in Iraq is wrong, soldiers die for nothing, there is no winning strategy, and we should simply withdraw and repeat what was done to Iraq in the first Gulf War, namely to abandon it to its own fate.
Kennedy called for Rumsfeld to resign and Rumsfeld retorted that he has tried to resign several times and President Bush has refused the resignation.
Now, let's get back to the bottom line issue. Either Kennedy is right or Rumsfeld is right. There is a clear choice here. Is Kennedy speaking nobly from the heart about Iraq or is he just trying to rack up more anti-war, anti-Bush points. Is Rumsfeld, the guy largely in charge of the war, lying to us all while gleefully enjoying all those American soldier casualties.
According to Severin, it's Kennedy who speaks the truth and it's Rumsfeld who speaks with forked tongue.
Sorry, Jay. We love you, but you are, oh, so wrong on this one. We're amazed that Severin can't instinctively sense that in siding with Ted Kennedy, something has to be short circuiting that usually reliable Severin logic.

DURBIN APOLOGY CLINTON STYLE

Faced with biting criticism for his Gitmo Nazi guard speech last week, Senator Dick Durbin did a so-called apology. It's a Clinton style apology.
Basically a Clinton style apology never admits to having done anything wrong, rather it shifts the blame to those who perceive that something said or done was wrong.
In Durbin's so-called apology there's no admission his Senate remarks equating Gitmo military guards with Nazis, Stalinists and Pol Pot are woefully wrong. Rather Durbin says he is sorry some of us folks out here got offended by his remarks. In other words, tough luck if we took his remarks in such a way as to be offended. In other words, it's our problem, folks, not his.
In a pathetic Clinton imitation, Durbin almost came to tears as he delivered his fake apology. He joins a long list of leftists who resort to lip quivering, teary-eyed on-camera moments as they cover their ass.
Almost as offensive as the Durbin attack on Gitmo guards and his Clintonesque apology were the remarks of Senator John McCain.
McCain sprang to Durbin's defense on the Senate floor, offering remarks praising Durbin for his, as McCain put it, "heartfelt apology."
Baloney, Senator McCain. A heartfelt apology is delivered immediately after one offends, not a week later. Durbin's sole reason for a so-called apology is a reaction to all the heat, some of which came from the likes of Chicago Mayor Daley and much of the Illinois media.
It took a week for Durbin to try his cheap apology trick. We're not fooled by it. The Gitmo military personnel are not fooled by it and most of the American people are not fooled by it.
When you publicly state that Gitmo guards are doing a fine job and equating them to Nazis was totally and completely wrong and intended only to score political points, we'll believe you. We await your apology, Senator. A real one, that is.

AIR AMERICA RADIO: THE G.O.P.'S BEST FRIEND

After listening to the various talk segments of Air America Radio, the knee jerk reaction of many conservatives is anger, rage and more anger.
It's all wrong. Conservatives and Republicans need to take a step back, take a deep breath and realize just what Air America Radio accomplishes each day as it sends forth its hateful messages via a limited number of stations across the land.
The extremist left wing network is one of several recent endeavors to push national talk to the left. To do this, Air America Radio has resorted to paying some stations to carry its programs. Hit with a barrage of protests from listeners, a number of big advertisers have either shied away from the lefty network or withdrawn their commercials from it.
But perhaps the biggest reason Air America Radio cannot attract advertisers in droves is fundamental. The network simply fails in the ratings game. Only a few rabid left wingers can take the network's negative content for much more than a half hour.
Those in charge of Air America Radio either fail to see the problem or have allowed their political agenda to overwhelm the logic of it all.
Each moment it airs its shows, Air America Radio sends several hundred more independent and Democrat voters running for Republican cover. The network is the G.O.P.'s best friend.
From the cry baby rhetoric of an Al Franken to the crass Boobie Bouncing of a Randi Rhodes to the often hysterical rantings of a Mike Malloy this is a an outfit crying for financial extermination.
Even a casual look at the network's shows betrays its nature as a natural hangout of Vietnam War protesting Jane Fonda era lefties. Morning Sedition, Revolution Starts Now and Mother Jones Radio are hardly names that will attract throngs of undecided voters. Not even the addition of a Jerry Springer can help. After all, its hard to see chairs being thrown over the radio. Once Springer lost his TV visuals, there was little left for Air America Radio to inherit. Then there's Laura Flanders. It's a shame that such a lovely lady comes packaged in all that leftist propaganda.
No, conservatives, Republicans and anyone in the middle need have no fear of Air America Radio. With an incessant fare of America-hating shows that deride people of faith, lambast U.S. soldiers, wish dreadful forms of death on conservative talk hosts and stick up for just about every Anti-American culture assault you can imagine, this lefty network is insuring that the Republican majority will be growing by leaps and bounds for a long time to come.

ONE CALL TELLS IT ALL

On Monday Rush Limbaugh took a phone call from a person identifying himself as David, a physician from Norfolk, Virginia. The caller started by defending Senator Durbin's recent comments about Gitmo prison torture and took it a step further, calling for Bush and Rumsfeld to he held accountable for all those atrocities going on down there.
Dr. David was not content with American justice for Bush and Rumsfeld demanding they be placed on trial at an international court in the Netherlands.
"How many innocent people did they kill", asked the doctor.
At this point Limbaugh interjected that Gitmo prisoners were not being mistreated. None of them have lost their heads. None of them have been murdered. None of them have been car bombed. A frustrated Rush asked the doctor how in the world he could possibly see Gitmo or the rest of the world the way he did.
"How many people died when Bush lied to us about this war," asked the mad doctor. Bush didn't lie, asserted Limbaugh.
"How about the Downing Street Memo", asked Dr. David.
"That memo," said Rush, "did not say anything of substance and may be a fake". Still the doctor pushed onward telling Rush that Bush has a low I.Q.
Rush asked the doctor if he ever woke up in the morning happy. Did he ever smile, asked Rush. But the doctor marched on, reminding Rush that Bush is destroying the environment. Rush invited the caller to recite the whole litany held by the Bush haters.
The doctor asked if we were running out of oil.
"No," said Rush. He then asked the caller how he could go through life being as wrong as he was. "You haven't said one thing that's correct," said Rush.
At this point the conversation became much more honest. The caller reminded Rush that Karl Marx had written that religion was the opium of the masses. Sensing now that the caller was, in fact a Communist, Rush asked the doctor to identify his source of income.
"The patients I treat," said the doctor.
"Wrong," said Rush. "Government pays you. Health insurance pays you, just like Karl Marx would have wanted it."
The doctor returned to the Marx theory of religion. The 9/11 hijackers were on the opium of religion. That's what made them hijackers. Religion is the villain.
"Do you believe in God," Rush asked David.
"No," he replied. And he then said he could prove in two minutes there was no God.
"Would a God have created us with all that crap inside us that has to come out of us all the time?" he asked. "Would he have created women so they have to have a period every month?"
Rush instinctively saw an opportunity for humor.
"I so believe in God," said Rush, "that when people like you get to heaven I believe it will make you crap."
"You are the American Taliban," David yelled back.
"Why did you come to this country," asked Rush.
"I came for adventure, to see the world," said David.
With the conversation nearly at an end, Rush accused David of wanting to destroy this country. But David entered new territory, invoking Halliburton, Enron and corporate greed as the reason for war.
"I can't believe you ever made it through medical school, David," said Rush.
In conclusion Rush reviewed what movies David had recently seen.
"Fahrenheit 911," David answered.
Rush told the audience a few minutes later, "And we thought we had problems with the lawyers, folks. Now we have to worry about the doctors, too!"
Amen, Rush, Amen. Especially when they're Communists.

THE MEDIA CONSPIRACY ROLLS ON

Today marks the seventh anniversary of the firing of Boston Globe writer Patricia Smith after she was forced to admit inventing people and their quotes in her columns.
Smith was hardly the first in the media to advance the liberal agenda even if that effort required using false or fantasy information. In the world of left wing media, the ends always justify the means.
Then followed Jayson Blair of the New York Times and his vividly inventive pieces of journalism. His fake stories also got him fired.
We rolled onward with the contrived memo on Bush's National Guard service at a crucial point in the 2004 election. Whether or not this farce led to Dan Rather's departure from CBS news is arguable, but the bottom line is the propensity for the media to come up with these contrived products whenever it helps to advance some part of the liberal or Democrat agenda.
Was it by chance that the New York Times ran over fifty highly visible articles intended to show how U.S. soldiers torture and mistreat prisoners at Iraq's Abu Ghraib Prison? Or is it just coincidental that the current media overload about Gitmo prisoner abuse coincides with Democrat rhetoric in Congress comparing U.S. military prison guards to Hitler's Death Camp thugs?
All this anti-Bush, anti-Republican, anti-Conservative and anti-Christian media swill is intended to damage future Republican election chances while elevating the chance for Democrats to get back into the majority.
But what it actually does is show with clarity that there is a well organized conspiracy going on involving the liberal mass media and the increasingly left wing Democrat Party. And what it really does is to insure an even quicker demise of left wing whackos and their equally whacky agendas.
Sadly it also results in aid and comfort to America's enemies both at home and abroad. It encourages terrorists everywhere, and especially in Iraq, to keep up their attacks on both coalition soldiers as well as innocent civilians. It is this last result that is the most tragic and it is this result for which the American liberal mass media should hang its head in shame.
